 PFN Accuses VeryDarkMan of Releasing Fake Press Statement

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has accused social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), of fabricating and circulating a false press release in their name.



According to PFN officials, the alleged statement misrepresented the organization’s stance on a sensitive issue, misleading the public. The PFN has strongly condemned the act, emphasizing the dangers of misinformation and its potential to harm public trust.

In response, the religious body has called on authorities to investigate the matter and take necessary legal action to prevent the spread of false information. Meanwhile, VeryDarkMan has yet to publicly address the allegations.



This controversy highlights the increasing concerns over digital misinformation and the responsibilities of influencers in ensuring ethical content dissemination.
